10-5-2 Prarie Run

The 34th annual 10-5-2 Prairie Run will be conducted on July 27, 2019, starting at King Field House. There are three separate runs of 10, 5 and 2-miles. The 10 and 5 mile runs are competitive and professionally timed. The 2 mile run is more of a fun run where you can take a stroller.

The cost for each run is $20 through July 9th and includes a T-shirt. The cost starting July 10th is $25 and includes a T-shirt but the size IS NOT guaranteed. All three races are free to those 17 and under but do not include a T-shirt. The 10-mile race is free to Active Duty military and does include a T-shirt with the requested size guaranteed through July 9th.

Registration will be available online at https://register.chronotrack.com/r/48027 through July 26th and then again onsite on race day from 6:00 am to 6:30 am. Packet pickup will be onsite only on the morning of the event.

The 10 and five mile runs will start at 7:00 am on July 27th and the two mile race will begin at 7:10 am. Awards will be presented for the top three finishers by gender in each event.

There are a few updates that we wanted to pass on to you to make
your race experience more enjoyable. Please use Henry Gate (Marshal Army Airfield, Exit 301 off of I-70) to enter the installation. As you approach the gate, stay in the far right lane. You will see a guard in a safety vest and you will tell him that you are coming on Ft. Riley for the 10-5-2. Please ensure that all persons in your vehicle have a driver's license or government issued identification ready. Youth 15 years old or younger will not be required to present an ID.
