Physical Fitness Centers

Fort Riley features six physical fitness centers, all designed to cater to your fitness needs. From historic King Field House to the modern design of Whitside Fitness Center, our physical fitness centers feature top-of-the-line equipment and programs designed to offer what you need to stay in shape and be healthy. 

King Field House

King Field House offers a family-friendly fitness room, designed to let you bring your children with you while you work out, along with racquetball courts and a sauna.

Whitside Fitness Center 24/7 (Open to COVID-19 Vaccinated Patrons Only)

Whitside Fitness Center features an indoor running track and a climbing wall with an auto-belay system, and is home to our Group Fitness program.

For Fully Vaccinated Patrons Only (no guests) 

Vaccinated patrons will need to register at Whitside Fitness Center during normal operating hours (Monday-Friday) to obtain exclusive access as a fully vaccinated DoD cardholder. Don't forget to bring proof of full vaccination when registering. 

*CAC must be re-registered every six months and proximity card every three months. 

Registration will include:

  1. An orientation of rules and regulations for Whitside Fitness Center. 
  2. A statement of understanding which includes the rules, regulations, and penalties for violating the rules and regulations while using the facility. 
Robinson Fitness Center (Open to COVID-19 Vaccinated Patrons Only)

Leonard Fitness Center (Open to COVID-19 Vaccinated Patrons Only)

Craig Fitness Center 24/7 (Open to COVID-19 Vaccinated Patrons Only)

Craig Fitness Center The facility offers cardio and strength training equipment, as well as functional fitness equipment

Access to Whitside Fitness Center, Leonard Fitness Center, Robinson Fitness Center and Craig Fitness Center is restricted to COVID-19 vaccinated patrons only.

King Field House will remain open for unvaccinated following current protocols.  
 
In COVID-19 vaccinated fitness centers, saunas, showers, and water fountains will be available.    

Process to use Whitside Fitness Center, Leonard Fitness Center, Robinson Fitness Center and Craig Fitness Center: 

  • COVID-19 vaccinated patrons (military, retirees, family, civ) can go to any physical fitness center or Warrior Zone to register, just bring a valid ID card and COVID-19 shot card. (Access begins 14 days after second shot.) 

  • Soldiers and eligible patrons once registered will be able to use their ID card to scan in to any COVID-19 vaccinated fitness center.

COVID-19 Vaccinated Fitness Centers will operate at 75% patron capacity, to still provide some space for distancing. Whitside (COVID-19 unvaccinated) patron limit remains 100 pax.

  • No registering during PT Hours (6:30am - 7:45am)

  • To register, you will need:

    • COVID 19 shot card showing that you have all doses. (Last doses must be at least 14 days prior to registering.

    • DoD ID Card
Long Fitness Center (Fitness Area Closed, Open only as COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic)

Long Fitness Center features an outdoor track and sports fields, and indoor training pool for unit PT and drown-proofing, and a racquetball court.

Bubble Guppies

11 am

20 minutes of water safety and skill training by a certified water safety instructor followed by 40 minutes of water play. Open to children ages 6 months to 5 years and their parents. Parents must accompany children in the water. Must follow facility's current COVID-19 mitigations.
