Junction City is located southwest of Fort Riley, and is a community full of open public spaces ranging from fishing ponds to ball fields. 

Bramlage Park

Bramlage Park features activities for the whole family, and most know for its Skate Park.

Buffalo Soldier Park and Memorial

Buffalo Soldier Park showcases the heritage of Junction City and Fort Riley, and memoralizes the Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th and 10th Calvary Regiments.

Cleary Park

Cleary Park is home to the Junction City High School Blue Jay Softball team. Stop by to watch a ball game, or to visit the 12th Street Community Center.

Coronado Park

Coronado Park remebers WWII and Foreign Wars Veterans.

Helland Park

Helland Park is the perfect place to breakaway from your everyday life and immerse yourself in nature.

Heritage Park

Homer's Pond
Looking to enjoy a Saturday near the water? Homer's Pond is a family-friendly stocked fishing pond that features catfish and bass.

Martin Luther King Jr. Park

Playground Park

Playground Park is one of Junction City's largest parks, and is also home to the Municipal Pool and Sprayground.

South & North Park

South and North Park are known for their excellent softball fields, and are popular sites for softball tournaments.
