Housing Services Office (HSO) Off-Post Housing

How does the Housing Services Office help Soldiers and Families coming to Fort Riley? They inspect every property listed on their website for life, health, and safety so that when you select a home from the listing, you know you are getting a quality home. The homes listed have been inspected and are approved rental properties. 

Housing Services Office (HSO) Services:

  • Maintains a list of inspected and approved rental property 
  • Assists with rental lease review
  • Mediate landlord/tenants complains
  • Performs home inspections
  • Provides transportation for house hunting if service member arrives at Fort Riley without transportation

Fort Riley's mission is to provide the best in support for the Warfighters and their Families. In 2019-2020 Fort Riley had a 91% Satisfaction rating and tied with Fort Drum as the Highest Rated Garrison among installation competitors in ICE.

SFRG

OPPORTUNITIES TO MEET PEOPLE WITH DEPLOYED FAMILY MEMBER:

Hearts Apart
Offers support to Family Members who are living separately from their Service Member due to mission (i.e. deployment, unaccompanied tour, extended TDY, etc.) requirements. The program sponsors events and services to help make life a little less stressful during separations.  Participants will have an opportunity to attend social activities, educational workshops, and to meet, share and network with other families. RELIGOUS GROUPS

Protestant Women of the Chapel (PWOC)                                                                              
Join us this year as we seek True Unity in Christ. Lead women in Christ. Teach women God's word. Develop their spiritual gifts. Involve women in chapel ministries. PWOC meets at Victory Chapel Tuesdays 9:30am - 11:30am & 6:30pm - 8:00pm.  

Catholic Women of the Chapel (CWOC)                                                                                              Join us on Wednesdays 9:00am - 11:00am at Victory Chapel for fellowship, rosary, and book study! 

SPORTING OPPORTUNITIES

Intramural Sports Leagues                                                                                                                Open to company-level teams of active-duty Soldiers only. Participation in these leagues qualifies units for Commander's Cup points.

Community Life Leagues                                                                                                                          Open to all DoD ID card holders ages 18+. Some leagues may qualify for Commander's Cup points, for active-duty teams only.
