From historic King Field House to the modern design of Whitside Fitness Center, our physical fitness centers feature top-of-the-line equipment and programs designed to offer what you need to stay in shape and be healthy.

King Field House offers a family-friendly fitness room, designed to let you bring your children with you while you work out, along with racquetball courts and a sauna.

Swim 100-miles or 1,000-Miles! Open to individuals and units.
Individual Swim Challenge – Individual lap swimmers will report the number of laps swam each visit. The individual completing the challenge of swimming 100 miles or 1,000 miles in the 6 month time frame will be awarded the BRO Swim Coin.
BRO Unit Swim Challenge – Lap swimmers will report the number of laps swam during each visit for their unit. Each unit completing the challenge of swimming 100 miles or 1,000 miles in the 6 month time frame will be awarded the BRO Swim Coin.

- Foundational Day Sporting Events

Foundational Days Sporting Events allow units the opportunity to assemble their very best teams to showcase unit cohesion, comradery, and esprit de corps by competing in live and virtual sporting competitions. Soldiers will represent 1ABCT, 2ABCT, 1CAB, DIVARTY, 1IDSB, IACH, USAG-FRKS and DENTAC respectively.
Team requirements, Rules, and locations for each event to follow. Competition winners will earn the right to display the Victory Wellness Flag at their Headquarters unit the next month’s event. Scoring is by Brigade. Places are rank ordered 1-8.
*Virtual events are under development. Video Game Competitions could use Nintendo, PlayStation, or XBOX products. Games are to be determined.
Physical Strength is about your ability to perform at an optimal level. However, fitness is more than just exercise; it includes proper recovery, injury prevention measures, and nutrition. Physically fit Soldiers are essential to the Army. They are more likely to enjoy fulfilling productive lives.
