Range Policies

We provide NRA certified Range Officers to deliver a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. Upon arrival a Range Officer will provide both general rules for the complex and focused rules for specific ranges or events. To get you started shooting at the Victory Shooting Complex, follow these guidelines to make your trip easy.

  • Ensure all firearms and suppressors are registered on base. We gladly support the use of suppressors, SBRs, and SBSs; DON’T FORGET YOUR TAX STAMP! Please bring these documents to the range.
  • Once you arrive, we will have you sign a Hold Harmless Agreement. This is done your first visit only.
  • Fire is a constant hazard on rifle ranges, to mitigate this danger: No incendiary devices, i.e. dragons’ breath, tracers, or flairs are authorized on the range. Black Powder Rifles are welcome pending conditions. When fire hazards are raised, black powder actives are halted.
  • We enjoy it when patrons bring out the big guns. At the Fort Riley Victory Shooting Complex, .50 BMG can only engage paper targets on the rifle range.
  • Due to the concussive environment of the Rifle & Pistol Ranges and to negate the chance of TBI for infants and toddlers: No children under the age of 6 can be at the range complex. Expectant mothers should consult a physician prior to participating in shooting activities.
